Is my HVAC system compatible with NEST Learning Thermostat

I currently have 4 Honeywell Thermostats installed in my home. We have 2 Heat Pumps, 2 Air Handlers (2-stage) and 2-zones for each Heat Pump/Air Handler. (4 Total Zones - reason we have 4 thermostats).

Is the NEST Learning Thermostat compatible with this type of system... We have an external sensor for each thermostat going to "S2" on the Honeywell Thermostat.

I have not seen any pics in other threads showing a hook-up for an external sensor on the NEST Learning ThermostatWiring Diagram Honeywall ThermostatWiring Diagram Honeywall Thermostat

Hi jeffcarlisle70,

It appears to be Nest Learning Thermostat-compatible. Wires labeled S or S1 can be indicator lights or sensor wires. The Nest Thermostat uses its LCD display instead of an indicator light and gets sensor information, like outdoor weather conditions, over Wi-Fi. So you no longer need to connect it.

Please make sure to follow the corresponding wires from your current thermostat for the configuration.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.

Thanks,
Mark
