Is the temperature swing problem addressed in the new Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)?

The 3rd generation thermostat had a pretty serious design flaw that results in uncomfortable temperature swings of at least 2 degrees on both heating and cooling. There have been many posts about this including mine.

I just for the announcement for the "4th gen" thermostat. Is there any chance that this defect has been addressed?

Though I was forced to select "Web Browser" and "Heating Issues", this issue is platform independent and applies to both heating and cooling.

We won't know until they release more information.

I'm also a Nest Pro and haven't received any details about the new thermostat.
