Just installed a new nest thermostat and in cooling mode the ac unit don’t turn on

I just installed a new nest thermostat. Everything linked up. It is set to cooling. The fan turns on, but the AC unit doesn’t come on.

Thanks for posting in the community! Sorry to hear that your newly installed Nest Thermostat isn't cooling. No worries, help is here! I'd like to ask you a few question about it:

1. What type of Nest thermostat do you have? 
2. What type of system do you have? (Heat Pump or conventional type)
3. Do you have a photo of your old thermostat and new one?
4. Do you see a power error code on your thermostat?
