For some reason, all 3 nest thermostats disappeared from the app this week. The one I am working on is in my 2nd home, it is a nest Learning Thermostat, not showing up on app. After trying many of the solutions on this site, I tried to reset app, now it is not accepting entry code. It just stays on the clock saying "Chosse the number that matches your thermostat's display. Follow the instructions on the display to find it." The display shows the entry code and says Add the product with the nest app. You'll need the entry key. I have retried it several times, getting new entry keys and trying again and end up in the same spot.

Hi Netnet101,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I understand how frustrating it can be if the thermostat cannot be added to your Nest app; more so, if you’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps already, don’t worry, I’m here to help.
Just to get things clear, I want to ask, are you getting the entry key from the thermostat’s screen or the entry key that’s on the back of it? My recommendation would be to go into the thermostat’s settings and make sure the thermostat is up to date, and you try to scan the QR code that’s on the thermostat screen by going into "Settings">"Nest App." The QR code is the most reliable, as it will not ask you for a confirmation number afterwards.
It would be great as well if you could go into "Settings">"Technical Info">"Power" and tell me at which battery level your thermostat is sitting at, as a low battery might make it a little bit more difficult for the thermostat to communicate with your device.
Let me know what you find out.
Regards,
Angel.
