Learning thermostat display light on every 5-6 mins

My Learning thermostat 2nd display's light on every 5-6 mins when nobody touches or passes through. The device is still working but the light on and off is bothered . Is that problem fixable?  Thanks.

To gather more information, please answer the following questions:

• What thermostat do you have? 
• When did the situation start? 

In the meantime, please, follow these troubleshooting steps:

• Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick View screen.
• Turn the ring to Settings and press to select.
• Open the Farsight settings:
  1. Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen): Select Farsight.
  2. Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen): Select Display Farsigh
• Choose what Farsight will show you. To turn it off, select Off or None.

 You can change using the App.

 Hi Eltanros,
Thank you for your info. Mine is learning thermostat 2nd gen.
I closed faright already to save power. But the display light is still on and off. And more often like every 2 mins now.
The thermostat works itself and with the apps.   But the ring does not work well sometimes. 

I have it for about 4 years already, guess it is close to damage?
