I'm not actually sure where to post this problem. About a week ago our downstairs Nest thermostat had a black screen with the Google "G" logo & a green light flashing. Sometimes in the app it says offline, sometimes it shows everything is fine, but the thermostat itself will not respond. I've tried resetting WiFi, resetting thermostat, charging thermostat. None of that has worked. Could it need a new battery (4 years old)? When it's on the wall & I try pushing it to turn on, it will go from blinking green with the "G" to a black screen, an orange light flashes, then red, then blinking green again. After messing with it & troubleshooting, I'll give up & it randomly turns on & appears to work. Wiring is fine, our upstairs nest works fine. I'm at a loss....
