Hi Ramman,
Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats.
Could you list down how the thermostat wires are connected to your current thermostat? It appears here that the wires are blocking the terminals of the thermostat, so we can't clearly tell its compatibility with our Nest Thermostats. However, you may use our Compatibility Checker to help you determine if a Nest Thermostat is compatible with your heating and cooling system.
Also, the Nest Thermostat does not need the S1 and S2 wires. Wires labeled S or S1 can be indicator lights or sensor wires. The Nest Thermostat uses its LCD display instead of an indicator light and gets sensor information, like outdoor weather conditions, over Wi-Fi.
Keep us posted. We're happy to help.
Best,
Zoe

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to us. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with any of our Nest Thermostat and should be wired to the Nest Thermostat base as follows:
Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Thermostat.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Zoe

What about the blue and brown I think they are for the heat pump

Hey Ramman,
The wire responsible for your heat pump is the orange wire that is connected to your current thermostat's O terminal. The S1 (brown wire) and S2 (blue wire) wires are not required by the Nest Thermostat. S or S1 cables are indication lights or sensor wires. The Nest Thermostat has an LCD display rather than an indication light and receives sensor data, such as exterior weather conditions, over Wi-Fi. Learn more about this by checking this article of identifying a thermostat wire.
Thanks,
Zoe

Hi there Ramman,
Chiming in — could you please take a photo of the wires connected to your system's control board, and share it with us? I'd like to take a closer look at it. Ensure that the labels of the wires are visible.
I appreciate the help, Zoe.
Best regards,
Jenelyn
