This morning we woke up to a home that was 7 degrees colder than the thermostat was set for. When I went to look at the display I noticed the temperature it said the family room was was 10 degrees warmer. Also noticing that the unit itself was extremely hot. Further investigation found it had triggered my AC to come on as well. Anyone knows that an AC that is on and running in temperatures that are well below freezing will damage their AC. My AC and the lines were frozen solid outside and most likely destroyed. This was caused from a malfunctioning unit. And it seems this has happened quite a few times before as I was reading. Why was there never a recall on the units? This is going to cost us thousands to repair. Please help!
