Hi there
My heatlink has failed and it is due to be replaced on Monday .
However as there are no LEDs , no Wi fi nothing is working on the heatlink am I still able to put the device into manual mode?
Is there a simple bypass as I cannot seem to find away and if not that is a major flaw in the product.
If anyone knows a way I can crudely turn my heating on please advise.
Surely I do not have to manage without heating for 4 days when my boiler is perfectly functional? If there is no other way to bypass this cheap heatlink box then I think long-term this solution will need to be removed.
It's a Baxi 800 boiler

Hey @Gareth5152. You can check if the boiler has an override button or a programmer. If your Heat Link is broken, you can't turn on your heating using Nest.

Hi , thanks for the reply but I cannot see one. The problem seems to be there is a lack of override option.
I have controls on the biller but as the heatlink seems to have priority the manual controls do not do not work

I see. In this case you could install a temporary, traditional, thermostat to override the system until your replacement arrives.
