I have two heat pumps with one controlled by a 3rd gen learning thermostat and the other by a 4th gen learning stat. I have a gas fired baseboard system with five zones controlled by Nest E thermostats that provide back up heat when the heat pumps cannot maintain desired comfort settings. I am told that I can manually set a lockout temperature for the heat pumps when the temperature goes below a point where they are not efficient for heating. This is supposed to be available in the Equipment setting, but when I go there, I cannot find any option to set a lockout temp. I see that some how during setup of the heat pump thermostats, the System details for the Heating systems are not correct. The heat pump orientation is O, heat source is Elect, Heat type is forced air, but the Heating system 2 is set as source - electric, type forced air, heat type 2 forced air. in both learning thermostats. How do I tell these thermostats that there is no Heat system 2 that they control. The only thing I see in the Equipment menus are the system details which are wrong, and I need to know how to change that.

Hi graussofj,
Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you need to manually lock out your dual fuel system, and I'm happy to assist you.
Before we proceed, I need some information to better understand the situation.
Could you please send me a picture of the wire labels on your Google Nest Thermostat device?
Also, could you please tell me what your thermostat is set up for on your Google Nest Thermostat device?
I will be awaiting your response.
Regards,
Manuel
