I manually set my thermostat to Eco mode before departing home for a few days. Eco mode is also the default when we are away. According to the instructions, it seems that manually activated Eco mode is supposed to stay on until turned off. However, this is not what happened. At some point during the time we were away, the thermostat changed to cool mode and 71 degrees. This caused our house - with two cats in it - to go down to 57 degrees before we got home. What am I doing wrong or did my thermostat foul up?

Similar thing happened to me. Eco mode has upper and lower temperatures defined. I manually set mode to eco. When I returned home, the thermostat was reset to heat-cool mode. I do not believe this is proper behavior.
