Might receive a defective nest power connector.

I bought a google nest thermostat to replace the old Honeywell mechanical thermostat, which is a 2 wire(W/R) zone valve control.
Works great while running with battery only with n260 warning. Then I purchased the nest power connector, hoping to eliminate the warning. After install and update I noticed that the warning notice gone, however, it won't turn on the valve. Then I used my multimeter to check the continuity in the connector, found only R wires have continuity, the W*Y wire does not. Is that normal for this connector?

I had the same problem, once you have run your new c wire, make sure it is grounded on your valve so the circuit can be completed! I usedthe transformer 24v pine to get the power for the c wire
