Multiple sensors (Gen 2) with Nest Thermostat (Gen 3)

I successfully added a Sensor (Gen 2) yo my Nest Thermostat (Gen 3). I like how it operates. 

I would like to purchase address Sensors (3-pack), but I am not sure if my Gen 3 will support more than one sensor. 

During the setup of the one sensor, I thought that I saw a message indicating that additional Sensors requires a Gen 4 thermostat. 

Can I add additional sensors to my Gen 3?

To answer your questions, Yes! you can have up to 6 sensors for each compatible Nest thermostat in your home.
