We just had to update two of our thermostats at the church to 4 wire thermostats. I've been able to connect my phone with the Nest App but cannot get the thermostats to show up in Google Home (which I hate). The church deacon has been invited to join Nest, but only gets some of the thermostats. He WAS seeing all in the Google Home app, but not since the change-over. Now he's installed the Nest App and only has 4 of the 5 thermostats (3 old ones, 1 new one). What the heck are we doing wrong. And for me, they don't all show up on the same screen, they're in two different places. Probably my error after physical install. Sure would be nice to talk to a person but I guess those days are gone.

Hi @Nancy55!
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting all your Nest Thermostats to show up correctly in both the Nest app and Google Home app, especially after updating two of them. I understand how difficult it can be not being able to see all your devices from a single app. I appreciate your efforts in taking those steps before. I'm happy to help you!
To help me find the best solution, I'll need to ask you a few questions:
Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.
Best regards,
Geremi

I added the two new thermostats through the NEST app. I don't really care for the Google Home app as it doesnt (or didn't) seem to have the same capabilities like setting up a schedule. 3 Thermostats (the old ones) say "E" on the booklet. We've had them quite a number of years. We recently upgraded the two that operate the larger heating/cooling units to a thermostat capable of handling 4 wire (I think that's right). The box says "Learning Thermostat" so, maybe that's generation 4?
