My Nest 3rd generation Heatlink has died despite being attached to Mains - no control over heat

I have a 3rd Generation Nest Learning Thermostat and Heatlink - the Heatlink has died completely, despite being attached directly to mains electricity - no lights come on when I press the button to reset. Thermostat displays error H71 - thermostat and heatlink less than two years old.  Boiler has to be manually started and shut down with zero control over heating. Google searching shows this is a common problem - how do I get this resolved ASAP
