Our Nest's display has begun to turn off its display, and no amount of tinkering will bring it back on. Then suddenly I'll walk by and it will turn on. It continues to work with the app regardless of display status. I've turned off the Home/Away feature and made sure the farsight (?) feature is enabled. I've made no changes to the network or even to the Nest settings. I need to change WIFI settings soon and so will need access to the display.
Is this fixable, or is it the sign of a failing unit?
