My nest is no longer communicating with my phone. When I turn it off w phone it says it is but isnt

I have disconnected, reconnected the WiFi. Uninstall n reinstall the app. Everything looks connected but they are not. I turn off the AC with app, the app says off but the nest on the wall doesn't.  I have to manually turn it off on the wall

Can you let me know the model of your thermostat? Is it the base model (Nest Thermostat), Nest E, or Learning Thermostats? This will help me figure out how to best help you.
