Hi!
I recently got a Nest Learning Thermostat and am attempting to make the switch on my own. I have some electrical knowledge but this problem has me stumped. Hope one of you can help!
The house was set up with a Braeburn thermostat and the wiring looked like this:
Rh - jumpered to Rc
Rc- red wire
y1 - yellow wire
g - green wire
W1/E - brown wire
W2 - white wire
O-orange wire
B-nothing
C- blue wire
I made the switch but kept getting the error message that the brown wire seems to be in the wrong place, specifically saying can only have one aux input ( W1 and W2 ). I'm not sure where else to plug that brown wire though and I don't want to just leave it hanging (or blow up my house by just plugging it into a random port lol)
I dug through the forums but I couldn't find my specific issues so fingers crossed one of you experts can give me some recommendations!
Thank you
Maria
