Thermostat worked great for a year but now have been getting the N260 error. When trying to troubleshoot and reset thermostat, Settings gives message EQUIPMENT ERROR. Cannot go beyond this.
Hardware version: 1.4; Software 1.3
Battery state says: OK, 3.16 volts
Please advise.

Hello Nettie2024,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
Not being able to use your thermostat due to a power error can be frustrating, but let's figure out what's going on so you can use it again.
If you're getting the N260 error on your thermostat, it means your thermostat isn't receiving enough power to operate correctly.
I recommend checking the following:
There might be a blown fuse in the fusebox if there was recent damage to your HVAC system. In this case, contacting a technician is recommended.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.

Hi Angel, There is nothing wrong with the breaker or our wiring. we reset the breaker just to test.
This thermostat has been working perfectly for a year! We thought the batteries needed changing and so did that. Still gives us the N260 error. This appears to be a common error as we read others comments/issues. If this is a known issue after this amount of time, this should be a warrantee issue and a replacement should be provided. Please advise.

Hi Nettie2024,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I really appreciate you taking the time to test both the power of the batteries and the power of your unit. However, I want to know if you can check the power information from your thermostat. If so, can you tell me what values you see on the screen? That would be great.
It would also be helpful to know which wires are connected to your thermostat. Some thermostats require a certain number of wires to avoid this error code, so please let me know if you can.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Angel.
