Hey ripnsk,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. A few questions: what type of Nest thermostat do you have? What's the make and model of your HVAC system? Is the display seated? (Is it properly clicked into the base?) Are all the wires firmly seated into the terminals? (No loose, or exposed wires) Also, what country are you located in?
Thanks,
Archie

Nest Learning Thermostat - 3rd Generation
RHEEM, RGTA-10EZAJS, RCFL-HM4821AC, something else...
Outdoor temp wire not used.
Thermostat worked as expected (probably, don't know), just cannot be configured as needed.

Hey ripnsk,
I'm sorry for the delay. Could you send us a photo of your wiring diagram? Also, tell us the power reading of your thermostat so we can take a closer look.
Thanks,
Archie

"power reading" - have no idea how to get it.
I have a feeling that no one read what I'm asking...
I tested cooling/heating/aux heating - hardware worked as expected (so connected\configured correctly).
The problem is in the software settings - inadequate range for AUX lockout temperature.

The only help I need is updated firmware which allows setup the required value for the "AUX lockout temp" setting.

Ripnsk, the respondents are not understanding that the maximum temp allowed by nest for this lockout is 32. Both you and I, and many others want to go beyond this. I want mine set at 38. You want yours set at 40. Either way tue Nest doesn't allow you to set it beyond 32. CHANGE THE LOCKOUT RANGE TO GO BEYOND 32
