Lost connectivity to home WiFi yesterday.  After running through troubleshooting steps, still no WiFi connectivity and not accessible in Nest app on Android phone.

Good Luck, I had the learning Nest and the wifi stopped working just as the two year warranty ended. No fix other than buying a new one and that won't happen at the current cost. The only thing I can suggest is getting someone on the phone after you do a reset. If still won't connect, ask for a replacement.

How do you get someone or the phone or in a chat.  Just keeps cycling through help articles.

@scott61, I eventually found a link that resulted in a support call from google.  I didn't keep track, but feel like I heard hold music for about 30 minutes.  Then the support technician ran me through all of the published troubleshooting steps before concluding the wifi chip must be defective.  My device is under warranty, so Google is sending me a replacement device.  I just have to return the defective part.  Thanks @k9quarz!

I’m having similar wifi connection issues with thermostat e, but my device is out of warranty so Google won’t replace the defective device. Is there any hope for a replacement or is there a way to replace the wifi chip?  Has anyone had any luck in getting Google to replace a wifi defective thermostat that’s out of warranty?  I’ve have had no luck with Google customer support, they just keeping their script by saying I should buy a new thermostat.

Just went through the same thing and was told, "yes the device is defective, but out of warranty, please buy a new one, thank you"
