I had a new HVAC system installed a few weeks ago; I also had a new Nest 1.4 thermostat installed. I noticed that to cool my house to the same temperature as I did with my last (Carrier) thermostat, I must set my Nest several degrees lower; at least 5/6 degrees. Also, the room temperature in my house feels significantly higher that what is displayed on the Nest. For example, the Nest shows the room temperature to be 80 degrees, but the room feels several degrees warmer; at least 85 degrees. Any thoughts on whether this is normal or any suggestions on a fix?
