We have two Nest thermostats and have had them for more than a couple years. They have worked flawlessly the entire time. Suddenly, however, our upstairs Nest only shows one temperature - not a range. Downstairs continues to work and shows the proper temp range view.
Our equipment has not changed. I’ve been through all the menus and nothing. All of the programming we had is just gone for upstairs. When I try to program for upstairs, it just shows the one temperature, and not a range of temperatures. They are identical Nest thermostats and I cannot stress enough that our HVAC units are the same.
‘Have also performed factory reset. Nothing has changed and yet it still only shows one temperature. Anyone have a clue?

Found my own answer. Somehow it was set to cooling only. Changed to cooling and heating and the range is back. Literally nobody touches it, and I cannot remember the last time I used the app. It’s a mystery
