Nest 2nd gen suddenly started changing the temperature to NOT what is in the schedule

I have had a 2nd generation Google Nest ever since I bought it brand new several years ago and it has been working flawlessly up until recently. Then, the other day, it has started changing the temperature to a lower temperature than I set it and also lower than what the schedule set it to. If I manually change the temperature back up, it, usually instantly but sometimes after a delay, lowers it again. It does not set to Away or ECO, it just lowers the temperature. I have both the Nest app and the Google Home app installed on my Google Pixel 7 pro.
