Nest 3 Learning Thermostat

Hi All,

I purchased a nest 3 learning thermostat, but I’m not sure how to hook it up because my current thermostat has the black wire and the white wire both in Aux/E. Can’t get the heat to blow warm/hot air. I have a heat pump. Thanks!

Not sure if you found the answer. On another forum, I was told to connect your white wire to W2 and black to (*). Label (*) as E or emergency.

Thank you very much!!! I will give that a try. Appreciate your time.
