Hello,
I have noticed my Nest running for an excessive amount of time and saw that while the room is comfortable and cool (middle of room reading 78°) the Nest is registering 84°. This gets worse and worse as the day goes on. I live in Texas and the highs have been over 100°, however, this is a new HVAC unit that is solely zoned for this single room (loft) upstairs. When I measured the temp on the unit/wall behind, it measures 90°. Can anything be done to get the Nest to use the air temperature vs wall temperature to cool the room? It is on an inner wall (other side is the attic) no sun.

Appreciate your response! I went through the forum and tried some of the suggestions and I think a restart was all I needed! I did verify my signal strength is at a 76 now as well and I believe it was lower prior to the restart. Of course the temperature just dramatically lowered in my part of Texas (from 100’s to high of 80 today) so I’ll start a new thread if the problem starts up again.
