Nest 3rd Gen fresh from box Wi-Fi failure?

Setup a new Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd gen. Was able to setup and connect to account and wifi. Immediately it started dropping wifi signal and now will not even show any available networks. I have tried multiple resets back to factory and removal from the app, completely restarted the process 3 times. Still cannot see any WiFi networks. Searched all available trouble shooting and no error codes are being given. I’m assuming there is a hardware error. Would appreciate any support.
