Nest 3rd Generation E-73 error

Hope this is read by someone who can help me out of a jam.

4 year old Carrier system, Nest 3rd Gen thermostat.   The AC side is perfect, zero issue.   My problem is the heater.

I set the heater to come on and it operates fine, for about 10-12 minutes and then it shuts off.  I then see the error code on my Iphone app. "Power Out    E-73   No power to Rc Wire.  I've had the same nest thermostate since the home was built 2018 and it has not been touched.  Battery is fully charged.  I have a power switch beside the Air Handler.  After the unit shuts itself off: If I turn it off for say 45 seconds, & then power it back on, it works great, but then once again it shuts down after to 10-12 minutes.

There is no water in the pan, so the float switch is not an issue.  I have a maint company come out twice a year to service the unit.  I had a local AC company come out, they replaced the gas valve and some other switch, but there is still no improvement at all.  They temporarily removed the AC filter for a couple of min in the event that it was not getting enough air, but that is not the issue either.  None of the duct work has collapsed either.  They have thrown in the towel on this and don't know what this fix is.  Meanwile I am out several hundreds of dollars.

If anyone can help, or if you own an AC company in Land O Lakes, just a bit North of Tampa please let me know.

I have a current Carrier warranty on this, but I'm tired of paying for labor to replace items that are not bad and don't fix the system.

Thanks

Hello Phoinix,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Your system may not provide enough power or any power to either the thermostat or a specific wire (so the thermostat can’t complete a circuit and shows a wiring report). Could you please share with us a picture of your thermostat's wiring? Also, please check the power readings on your actual thermostat's Technical info option.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Mark
