Nest 3rd Gen Learn Thermostat has been working perfectly for one year. I am in the middle of a home renovation and the unit has been unplugged since November. My HVAC technician wired the unit to my new (same type) system and now it can’t find my network. Went through all the steps including restarting the router and thermostat. Nothing is working. I don't have any other Google products in my house, however ALL my 92 other devices are connected and working fine. I am on a 1TB system directly connected to the router and WiFi from there. This is the second Learning thermostat I have purchased in two years. The other one stopped working after 11 months.

Hi HossnPfeffer,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We're sorry for any trouble this may have caused you. Let's see what's going on. If your device can’t find your network but you already tried resetting the device and your router, the next thing that you can do is reset it to factory default. Follow the steps below:
Let us know if that helps.
Best,

If I do a factory reset, what information is lost and how do I get it re-entered

Hello ams228,
Good question. If you have saved schedules, they will be erased, and all of your auto-learning will also be reseted. All of it can be re-entered on the device once the reset is complete. You can follow the steps below for a manual schedule.
Other than these, they can easily be set up during the installation process.
If you encounter any kind of error message or error code, please let us know.
Regards,
Renz
