Nest 4th Gen and Carrier Infinity Compatibility

Hello Nest Community!

With the release of GEN 4 and the removal of the "C" wire, does anyone know if it will work with the "Carrier Infinity" system?

Previous blog posts point to the previous Nest thermostats as not being compatible and I wanted to see if this has been mitigated.

Carrier does not allow third party thermostats to control their Infinity systems unfortunately.
