Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're looking to turn off the Dynamic Farsight feature on your 4th generation Nest Learning Thermostat and also want to know if you can keep the display always on. I'm glad to assist you with these questions.
Regarding Dynamic Farsight, this feature can be disabled through the Google Home app or directly on the thermostat. Please refer to the following article for instructions: Learn about Nest thermostat displays.
In response to your second question, Nest thermostats are designed to maximize energy efficiency, which is why the display automatically dims when not in use. This helps conserve power, and as a result, an always-on display isn't a feature we currently offer.
