Could someone (preferably a Google employee if such a thing exists) please help me figure out why the Google thermostat I paid several hundred pounds for cannot recognise when the Google pixel 6 phone I paid several hundred pounds for - and which is literally the only device connected to it - is home or away for the purpose of turning off the heating when I'm out: the only reason why I purchased the product in the first place. Was working fine on my old one plus (device since forgotten and entire system reset to no avail). I sure would be grateful!
