Nest AC won't turn on automatically

Hello everyone. I need help in figuring it out why when i put my thermostat in specific cooling it DOES cool it off tk that point and then in turns off and doesn't turn on auto again when the temp in the house getting hotter. So basically ac only turning on when u come and set it put.

Do you have a schedule set up on the Nest, with times and temperatures, that you want your AC to cool to?  Even if you yourself didn't set up a schedule, there may be a default one on your Nest.  That is the basic way to control the Nest.  If instead you twirl the dial or push the buttons to tell the Nest to cool to a particular temperature right now, it will obey you only until the next set point in its schedule.  Then it will revert to following its schedule.

To make the Nest obey your schedule at all times, make sure you turn off the "smart" features  -- Home/Away Assist and/or presence sensing  --  and make sure that Eco Mode is off.
