Nest App not connecting to the thermostat

On Thursday April 11th, suddenly I am no longer able to use the Nest App to control my two thermostats  (one for furnace with air handler and one for separate air handler in our attic) I was not at home at the time. Both thermostats state they are connected to my account, both show connected to WiFi and I even have attempted to reset both thermostats, restart my router, disconnect both from the account and reconnect both. I checked for app updates and also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I can use both thermostats manually but sometimes I am not at home and like the ability to use the app to heat or cool out house through WiFi. The app only shows my address and home/away. No more temperature or system control or usage. Both are 3rd generation thermostats. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Not a tech expert by any means but I can normally fix issues.

Hi Jemazur74,

I'm sorry to hear about this situation with your Nest thermostat, no worries, help is here! According to your post, currently, you aren't at home. Unfortunately, there isn't any remote troubleshooting. Please perform a Factory Reset in your thermostat and re-connect it back to the Nest App.

Regards,
Axel.
