Nest E Thermostat not shutting off Air

I installed a thermostat that was n

 

ew in the packaging never used before. I have all the correct wirring R Y W G C all test are working fine except ounce you set and turn on the AC to a temperature to 62 the ac runs and runs for hours with no change in room temperature.  It shows either 65-68  no matter how long the ac runs and never shuts down or change in temp. I scanned around the thermostat an various rooms for a teperature reading and it's well bellow 62. Could this unit be bad as for the teperature sensor or is there a setting or calibration to the hvac needed by a professional.

• How big is the difference between the readout of the Nest thermostat and your thermometer or other thermostats?
