I have this wiring question my old thermostat has 2 wires connected to the W terminal (white and brown) how do I connect these to the Nest E which has only one W terminal? Do I just join them together and connect it?https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1210705259060531201/1231750542959841360/IMG_5605.jpg?ex=66381...

Hi Joelgarr,
Thank you for posting. The wires could be confusing to connect. Help's here.
For your question, usually when you have 2 wires to the same terminal, the white one should be connected to the "W" and the other one, which in your case is the brown one, should be connected to "the *." Once you have connected to it, the thermostat should tell you the purpose of the wire in the set-up process, so you will need to provide the details to complete the set-up. Also, there is a link where you can check and identify if your thermostat is compatible with your heating and cooling system.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Regards,
Byron
