Nest Furnace Heads Up

Keep getting alerts that our furnace was shut down Unexpectedly. We don’t have a furnace…..we have a boiler. How do I update that information?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. 

 

Using your thermostat display, please follow the steps listed below: 

  1. Press the thermostat ring to bring up the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings > Equipment. You’ll see all the wires currently connected to your thermostat.
  3. Continue. You will see a list of equipment attached to your thermostat.
  4. Choose Heat type, then select the type of heating you have.

We bought a C wire and are figuring out how to get it installed
