Nest Gen 2 Error No Power to Y1 e30 error after AC died

My AC died this summer (Age and Fried wire) so power to it is turned off outside.  The charged the Nest Gen 2 control this morning to get power back and now have the No Power to Y1 e30 error.  I am unable to control the heat from either the wall control or app.  Wires are connected to the Y1, G RC, W1 RH.    My understanding is that this has to do with power now missing that would have come through the AC line.  Hoping for help with a solution that will allow me to use the heat until the AC is replaced in the spring.

Hello EDK,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

An E report happens when the Nest Thermostat can’t safely operate the HVAC equipment. When an E report occurs, only the Technical Info and Wiring Diagram options are available in the thermostat's settings. Please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring and gather the power readings.

Also, I did find a helpful article with some explanation on what causes this message code and when to troubleshoot E10, E30, E66, E80, E116, E160, E196, E296, M13, and N254 help codes.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
