Nest Gen 3 Thermostat

I want to cancel out any “learning” my thermostat has and just turn system on and off for heat and cool from my iphone or at the thermostat.

How do I do this, cannot figure it out?

1. Open the Google Nest app.
2. Select your thermostat.
3. Select the Mode option in the lower left and set the mode to Heat/Cool.
4. Select the Eco option in the lower center and end Eco Temperatures on all thermostats.

If you also want to stop it adjusting based on home/away assist and the auto-schedule features, select the settings icon in the upper right and turn off the Home/Away Assist and Auto-Schedule options.

Thanks for sharing the steps for disabling some smart features, @David_K.

@Jimfrer, in addition to what was shared above, disable the Auto-schedule by going to your actual thermostat's Nest Sense settings and turning off the Home and Away Assist. Then, go to Reset > Schedule > Clear or Remove. This will allow you to delete all the Temperature schedules that you might have created. Once everything is cleared, restart your thermostat to refresh, and it'll no longer change the temperature by itself unless you change it manually.
