Hi MikeLinda,

Sorry for the delayed response but thanks for reaching out. I want to take a closer look into this.

A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat is this? Do you have more than one thermostat? If yes, does this occur on the other one? Also, have you tried charging the display directly from a power outlet using a USB cable if you see a light on it?

It would also be great if you could provide all the steps you've tried so we can pick up from where you've left off.

Best,

Melba

I'm jumping in here. I have the same issue. I have two 3rd Gens that I bought at the exact same time 2 years ago. I have only one that is a nightmare with this low battery issue since About 6 months in and constantly losing wifi connection because of it. Yes, I have removed it and charged it directly to recharge it and the only way it will hold a charge for a bit is if I will turn it completely off to charge so it will charge fully. After while, it will say low battery again, eventually it will be too low to connect to the wifi and off the wall and recharge with it turned off I go again. What a pain!!!!! The other device is fine. I can't find a lithium battery replacement with 2.1w. Any ideas???
