We have two google nest heating control circuits at home, a Gen 3 for the radiators and a Gen E for the underfloor heating. The Gen 3 works fine but the Gen E frequently gets stuck on full blast heating (thermostat confirms 25 degrees) even when the thermostat and app say it is targeting a low temp or is off. We have tried resetting, reinstalling the thermostat and don’t get any error messages to suggest something is wrong. We have had the thermostat a year and this issue is new. Is this a common issue please and how can it be resolved?

This is an issue we are also having. I have severe asthma and it's turning on our heater high at night when I wake up unable to breathe.

Hello folks,
Thank you for reaching out and providing detailed information about the issues you are experiencing with your Google Nest heating control circuits. We appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting, such as resetting and reinstalling the thermostat, and it's unfortunate to hear that the problem persists.
While it's not uncommon for electronic devices to encounter issues over time, the specific situation you described might require further investigation. The fact that the Nest Thermostat E is consistently stuck on full blast heating despite the target temperature being set lower or turned off raises concerns.
To address this issue, check for any thermostat actions in Routines and remove them. Disable the Home and Away Assist and clear all Temperature Schedules that might trigger your systems to activate unexpectedly.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Mark
