Nest HW problem

My Hot Water only heats randomly- meaning some days it works and some days nothing and I need to boost to get HW. Expensive. It worked perfectly for the first 6 months but for the last 2 it does it’s own thing. We had a new router at the same time … is that linked? Any ideas . Do I reset the whole system? .

Thanks for reaching out and for letting me know. Could you tell me please if the Bacteria prevention feature from the thermostat's settings > Equipment > Continue > Bacteria prevention says "Enable" or "Disable" when going on it?

It’s on, now switched off and problem seems to have resolved itself. Odd feature then if it makes the whole system not work.

Thanks for keeping us posted. It is good to hear that it is working as expected now. Monitor it for a few more days, to make sure the behavior is consistent. After, enable the Bacteria prevention back and see how it behaves. You can read more about bacteria prevention here.
