The heat link has failed on myNest thermostat there is power to the link but no power output to the thermostat. Had our electrician check it this morning and he says the heat link has failed abs it is a know fault. The thermostat is only about 2 years old can I get is replaced under warranty for a known problem?

Thank you for all the information @MarkieB and sorry for the late reply. It is great to hear you already checked the power to the Heat Link to make sure it is ok. There are a few more details I would like to check:
1. When did you first notice this behavior?
2. Was it installed by a Nest Pro or by a heating/electrical engineer?
3. Did you notice any message on the thermostat display?
4. Did you notice any power cut in the area before this occurred?
5. Did you have any maintenance done on the heating or electrical system recently?
6. Do you have only one or multiple Google Nest thermostat devices at the location?

Hi there. Just checking in. How's it going with your Heat Link?

Hello both, Nest resolved the problem by accepting the fault and sending a new heat link and thermostat which is now installed and all working fine. Nest were very helpful via the chat option.

Hey @MarkieB. I'm happy to hear that. I'm going to close this thread. If anything comes up, feel free to open a new one.
