Nest Heat Link has stopped working, no lights after 2 years of service

Hello,

The Heat Link of my Google Nest Learning Thermostat (V3)  has suddenly stopped working after exactly 2 years and 2 weeks of service: the box looks dead, no LED is lit, no response to pressing / holding the button nor to power cycle. Checked the fuse, connection wires, still unable to identify the cause.

The questionnaire filled:
How long has your thermostat been installed for? - exactly 2 years and 2 weeks
Did the issue happen during the installation? - No
Is there any error on the Nest thermostat display? - H72
Have you had any power cuts recently? - No
Have you had any work done on your electrical or heating systems recently? - No
How many zones are present in the setup? - Just one

Hello Oana,

thank you for reaching out. I have seen the message above and acted on it: filled in a Support ticket as recommended by another e-mail I've received. Now it's weekend, so I expect to see further progress next week.
