Nest Heat Link is dead

Hi,

It appears the heat link to the nest thermostat is dead. There is no green light, no activity when pressing the button and no response when power cycling. Are you still dong heat link replacements? If so, how do we proceed?

Thank you

Hi Rajdeepsadhra,

Thanks for posting in the community! I'm sorry to hear that your Heat Link isn't showing any lights. I'd be happy to help.

To better assist you, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • When was it installed?
  • Are you seeing any wiring reports or error messages on the thermostat or in the app?
  • Is the thermostat display still working properly?
  • Have you experienced any recent power outages?
  • Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system? If so, how long was the power off?

For now, I suggest turning the fuse board switches (circuit breakers) off and on. Then check if the Heat Link is receiving power.

Please keep me updated.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
