Nest Heat Link - no lights

SimonPRJ

Hi

my Nest Heat Link is not responding anymore. No lights and nothing when holding button in for 10, 20 and 30 seconds. I have also switched power off via isolation switch for more than 15 minutes and still nothing.
The thermostat shows error H71 and after taking the thermostat nearer to the heat link it seemed to connect but although I could change the temperature on the thermostat, the heating didn’t come on.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Simon Ray-Jones.

I noticed this issue today too.. no heating at all. Reading several forums this appears to be a common problem.

It’s a shame, I really like the interface and when it worked, it worked well. Now regretting installing. I called Nest support earlier and logged the issue. I know mine is still under warranty but unsure if Google will cover installation costs.

I have contacted Google customer care and hopefully get a replacement soon.
