There was a previous thread about this, but the fix was only a hack and was to increase and decrease thermostat - so not a fix!
We have an intermittent issue whereby when heating is set to say 23 degrees (When my wife is at home :-() and I turn it down, it won't turn off the hot water pump, so hot water is still being called and pumped around the hosue leaving radiators piping hot.
Only way I found to fix this is as above or rapid pushing of the Heat Link on off button. Wiring has been checked and all OK as it does work say 60% of the time, more often when not quite so hot to begin with.
So it seems the heat link is not sending a signal to the hot water pump, or is it because the hot water pump is a bit hot, it's not able to receive the switch off command?
I'm going to ask my electrician to add an inline switch though so I can physically switch off the pump. (Wife will never know 🙂
