Nest Heat link fault ?

Hi

I have a nest learning thermostat with I believe a gen 3 heat link

As it is summer I have not had the heating on so only just realised the thermostat has not been working.

I have no power to the thermostat from the heat link, I have tried all the reset procedures, power off holding bottom 20 seconds etc

No lights on the heat link unit of any kind even though there is 240v to it 100% checked. No 12volt power leaving the heat link also 100% checked

the thermostat does charge from a alternative power supply and give error code h72 no power to thermostat

Would like to know the quickest way to get a replacement heat link

Many thanks

Hi @tbec407. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue, but we'll sort this out together. Let's start with a few questions:

Did the issue happen during installation or after installation? Was it installed by a Nest Pro or by a regular installer?
Does the boiler activate when calling for heat by pressing the Heat Link's button to activate Manual Mode?
Are you seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat and/or the app?
Have you had any recent power cuts in your area? If yes, has the power been restored?
Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before contacting us?
How many thermostats do you have?

Thanks for taking the time to reply

heat link button does nothing

no power cuts, power in house was switched off to have a plug facia changed a few weeks ago power is on

I don’t know when it stopped working as my heating is currently off as it’s summer

All trouble shooting tried !

There is 240v power to the heat link confirmed with a volt meter, however no power is leaving the heat link (12v ) to the thermostat  on

Hot water works fine all through house one thermostat in house

Installation was 20 months ago with a new boiler
