Nest Humidyfing Setting

Rgibsk
Community Member

My nest is usually set between 65 and 70. But during the middle of the night, it turns on humidyfing and my house because extremely hot showing its up to like 88. So much so that I wake up and turn the whole system off.

Can anyone explain why it does that and how I can stop it from doing that? When I go to bed it's a bit cold but usually around 4 or 5 it's extremely hot.

Hi Rgibsk,

Thanks for posting ― let's get this sorted out.

A few questions: what Nest Thermostat do you have? Check this link to know what thermostat you have. Since when has this been happening? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Best,
Mel

Yes I am!

I have second Gen, since I have returned the thermostat, turned it off and on, changed the settings.
