Hi, I am trying to switch from a Sensi thermostat to a Google Nest.
My Sensi thermostat has a W/E wire. Google doesn’t include this as an option to select when choosing existing wires. What am I supposed to select?

@Jtylerc ,
If you have a Heat Pump, that W/E is your emergency heat wire. The Google Nest Learning series uses a programable terminal which is labeled “ * “. When you insert that wire into *, define it as Emergency Heat.

Thanks for your response.
I have just the regular google nest which has just a regular W. Would the W/E wire get connected to the W?

The W/E terminal on the Sensi thermostat can be either AUX or Emergency heat.
You can insert it into the W terminal on the Nest and then select AUX heat in the App when setting it up. This is assuming that you have a Heat-pump, if you are not sure then post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring if you have it and a picture of how you have the Nest wired
